About Hearts & Homes in Lincolnshire
Hearts & Homes was created to help families manage homes, belongings, and estate decisions with more clarity, care, and confidence. We support people facing bereavement, downsizing, care moves, and other major life transitions where a property and its contents need thoughtful attention.
Why Hearts & Homes exists
Managing a loved one’s home is never just a practical task. It can involve grief, family pressure, urgent decisions, and uncertainty about what may hold value. Hearts & Homes was built to bridge the gap between emotional overwhelm and practical progress.

Our mission
We help families move forward without feeling rushed. That means offering calm guidance, reducing confusion, and helping protect what matters, whether that is sentimental belongings, potential estate value, or peace of mind.

Marti Hobby
Marti is a therapist and founder of Hearts & Homes. With therapeutic training and lived experience of loss, she understands how grief and stress can affect decision-making. Her calm, person-centred approach helps families feel supported while sorting meaningful possessions and planning what comes next.

Gerald Baxter
Gerald brings leadership experience across the corporate and charitable sectors, alongside personal experience of managing estate matters after bereavement. His background strengthens the practical, structured side of Hearts & Homes, helping families make confident decisions during demanding times.
What we believe
Every home tells a story. Every situation is different. We do not treat estate transitions like a standard clearance job. We take time to understand the people involved, the property itself, and the decisions that need to be made.
